From my first visit to the Gorge,I fell in love with the people and the place!

There are many special features of the Gorge I treasure. I love:

• The outdoor pursuits, including hiking, biking, and of course windsurfing!
• The small town of Hood River and all its original charm and beauty!
• The city amenities of Portland near by.
• The fact that a wide variety of people have relocated to Hood River.

In 1981, Windsurfing brought me to the Gorge, and I was charmed! Nine years later I retired from a twelve year teaching career in Vancouver, Canada and moved to Hood River, where I ran a successful windsurfing school and worked as Fitness Director at the Hood River Sports Club.

In 1990, I purchased a starter home and began its remodel. A couple of years later, I was smitten by a dilapidated cottage in Old Town Hood River, with a gorgeous view of the Columbia River, and made it mine. The fun began by totally gutting the home. My experience in the purchase of this property and the hands on renovation of it made me realize that it was time for a career change.

In 1996, I entered the Real Estate business as a Professional Sales Associate, licensed in Oregon and Washington, with Don Nunamaker Realtors, in Hood River. I 've loved the challenges, and with my education, background experience and extra energy, it seems to be the perfect profession for me.

In the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004  I have been pleased to earn the recognition of being Top Agent at Don Nunamaker Realtors.

Friendship's grow fast and strong here in the Gorge and I am here to stay.
